Administration Division

The Administration Division of Lowndes County Fire Rescue (LCFR) provides the leadership, coordination and support necessary to ensure the department operates efficiently, effectively and in alignment with its mission of protecting life and property. This division is led by the Fire Chief, supported by an Assistant Fire Chief and an Administrative Assistant, who work together to oversee the day-to-day administrative functions of the organization.

Key responsibilities of the Administration Division include the development and management of the department’s operational budget, ensuring responsible stewardship of public funds while maintaining the resources needed to deliver high-quality emergency services. The division also establishes, maintains and enforces departmental policies and procedures, providing clear guidance and accountability across all divisions.

Through strategic planning, fiscal oversight and policy development, the Administration Division plays a critical role in supporting personnel, enhancing service delivery, and ensuring LCFR remains responsive to the needs of the community it serves.
