Animal Shelter Wish List

Lowndes County Animal Shelter cares for stray neglected, injured, and abandoned animals. Your donations help keep the County's homeless animals happy, healthy, and most of all adoptable.

Basic shelter needs:

  • Dawn dish soap
  • Dryer sheets
  • Books of stamps
  • Batteries – AA, AAA, 9V
  • Office supplies – pens, scissors, highlighters, staplers, staples, etc.

Dog care and enrichment:

  • Puppy food (kibble and canned)
  • Peanut Butter (xylitol free)
  • Any flavor broth (low sodium if possible)
  • Training treats (or any tiny treats)
  • Chews (pig ears, bully sticks, antlers; no rawhide please)
  • Kong toys 
  • Treat dispensers
  • Puzzle toys
  • Tennis balls
  • Kuranda dog beds (size large; found at www.kuranda.com)

Cat care and enrichment:

  • Used corks
  • Paper bags
