Terry Parsons was born and raised in Winchester Tennessee. He graduated from Franklin County High School home of the Mighty Rebels. Immediately following graduation, he joined the Air Force and began his career in Fire Protection. In 2003 he retired form Moody AFB as an Assistant Fire Chief. After retirement from the military, he worked for the City of Valdosta Fire Department, and Contract Fire Protection in Iraq, he is currently employed as a Captain with Lowndes County Fire Rescue. He is a Fire Inspector, Fire and Arson Investigator, Plans Examiner, and Life Safety Educator. His career spans 40 years of paid fire protection. He is a Christian with strong faith, he is a devoted member of Christ Episcopal Church Valdosta Georgia. He declares that he is the luckiest man alive to be married to his wonderful wife Kathleen Quist Parsons and they have eight wonderful children and sixteen grandkids who are incredible people that amaze them daily. Family, friends, making a difference, helping others, and doing the right thing are very important to Terry and his family. His favorite hobby is classic cars especially old American muscle cars. Terry and Kathleen love traveling and making new memories.
