One of three officer's recognized as The Rotary Club of Valdosta's Officer of the Year

The Lowndes County Sheriff's Office is proud to present one of three officers recognized as The Rotary Club of Valdosta's Officer of the Year, Deputy Jared Davis.  Deputy Davis serves as a member of the Sheriff's Interstate Criminal Enforcement Team (ICE).  Deputy Davis and other ICE team members have been a part of multiple investigations that have led to the confiscation of more than 100 pounds of marijuana, cocaine and methamphetamine.  Deputy Davis has also been involved in numerous currency seizures and investigations of illegally obtained currency in excess of $100,000.00. 

At the organization's 12th annual Law Enforcement Appreciation Dinner, The Rotary Club of Valdosta also recognized Georgia State Patrol, Senior Trooper Jeremy Kinsey, and Officer Darrell Lester, from the Valdosta Police Department.  Congratulations to these officers for a job well done.
